Our Identity

Rooted in nature and tradition, we cultivate sustainability and community, honoring the land and embracing ancestral knowledge.

Rooted in Nature, Guided by Tradition

NaTerra Farm’s logo, as a whole, represents the harmony between the land, people, and history, emphasizing the farm’s commitment to producing healthy food and preserving natural resources, all under the blessing of Ceuci and the guidance of the centenary tree.

1.    NaTerra: The name “NaTerra” represents the idea of “living and healthy soil.” It is related to the vitality of the soil, which is red like blood, symbolizing life and fertility.
    2.    Ceuci: Ceuci is the goddess of agriculture in Tupi mythology. She blesses the land, food, and life, reflecting the farm’s mission to produce healthy food and respect natural cycles.
    3.    The Centenary Tree: This tree symbolizes wisdom and spiritual guidance. It represents the connection with ancestral history and the balance between nature and humans.
    4.    Tapera: “Tapera” refers to an old, abandoned house, symbolizing heritage and family history. It connects the past with the present, highlighting the importance of cultural roots and tradition.

Our farm was founded in 2022 by Sandro Lopes, his wife Michelle and their 4 children’s . We started with just 400 square foot garden of land and micro-greens. Two years later, we developed a permaculture food systems project in 3 acres. We're proud to have been serving the local community with fresh, healthy and environmentally friendly products.
